Projects
In this project we are creating an app that helps people cope with grief by letting them interact more profoundly with their own friends and family. The app offers guidance to the saddy but also also to the social supporter. Therefore the app is about how to give and get social support, but also about how to deal with emotions with the help from your friends and family, and then how to talk about topics that will help the saddy find a place for the loss of the loved one in a warm atmosphere.
In this project we create an app that guides people in how to deal with the many emotions that can be experienced in life, or especially during grief. Even though emotions fluctuate all the time, people often don’t know how to guide their inner turmoil. In this project we learn people how to deal with negative emotions in a way that accepts emotions as bodily lessons that can be a guide to improving daily experiences in life.
To support our planet and counter climate change a global goal is to make a change in how we obtain our proteins in our meals. In this project we are investigating if bacteria can replace the majority of our amino acid needs and then largely replace the animals-for-food industry to support the environment, improve animal welfare, but also be fair to human mental health.
Economic impulses drive our industry to exploit humans by offering them food that lets them consume endlessly and become obese. In this project we work on making people aware of the lack of essential amino acids in their food sources and how this impacts their body transitioning to a state of obesity. We aim to improve UPFs to contain more amino acids so they become more nutritious to humans.
By making the school system more efficient, we are trying to create standard lesson plans that work for the majority of pupils, however highly gifted pupils do not thrive in this environment, while they are extremely important to our society. Gifted people are the people that ask the critical questions, that improve the world and see what might go wrong. In this project we try to empower gifted pupils early in life with the awareness of what helps them, so they can thrive, fight for their rights, and grow into people that can work on improving our society.
More and more data is collected about individuals, however often the data is owned by companies and not shared wiht the person in question. We aim to turn data ownership around by giving the data to the person and then letting them take action if and when they want to share a small bit of that.
People worry more and more about their data privacy since companies greedily use all their data in unseen ways to connect information across many sources to uncover a complete profile of the person in question. Very little is done about this currently, however, a solution may be to take back control of software. Currently, open source software is more stabile, better performing, and more secure about how the data is handled and by whom. Concurrently, opening software to the public opens more ways to innovate and create, more and better, helpful tools to support humanity. Therefore, in this project we work on explaining how people and governments can move to linux and other open source software
More and more we are confronted with the rapidly increasing climate changes which upset our environment through higer temperatures, more wind, dying plant, dying animals, and droughts. To improve air and life quality in cities and therefore worldwide, we work on city greening projects. We try to find ways to persuade people or governments to add more green to their environment. Mental health improves in green environments since people become less depressed and more relaxed.
